Introduction
MJoobi is a talented music producer and performer known for his unique blend of electronic and world music, With over a decade of experience. He was born and raised in Tehran, Iran in 1989 and started playing the keyboard in his childhood. MJoobi released his first remix at the age of 19 and collaborated with Sogand on "The Lom." He also worked as a film and theater music and sound designer for various productions. After being falsely accused and imprisoned in Iran, MJoobi moved to Paris in 2018, where he co-founded Sig:Null Academy and Lighthouse Record Label. MJoobi has a passion for electronic and shares his knowledge through online courses, inspiring and empowering aspiring musicians worldwide. He continues to create and produce music in support of the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement
Le Chant De Hiawatha
This Remix Album is Dedicated to the International Day Of Peace and initiated by Guila Clara Kessous with Collaboration with Pierre Ravan and MJoobi.
Guila Clara Kessous was appointed UNESCO Artist for Peace in January 2012, in light of her commitment to promoting and defending human rights through art.
In her capacity as a UNESCO Artist for Peace, she defends the values of human rights, peace and justice as well as the teaching of genocidal realities and slavery. She is also committed to gender equality.
Sogand Soheili
In 2014, MJoobi collaborated with Sogand on the hit track "The Lom" and produced over an hour of music for her live performance program. Their successful partnership showcased MJoobi's talent in producing and performing, contributing to their growing popularity. However, in 2015, they were falsely accused of acting against the Iranian regime, resulting in MJoobi enduring physical and mental torture during his two-month detention with two weeks in solitary confinement.
If You Go Away
"If You Go Away" was a successful track produced by MJoobi during his time as a producer / DJ and band member of Rebeat from 2011-2014. The track received support from DJ Tiesto, won the award for best remix on Shirley Bassey's official website, and was praised by the International Animation Video Festival and Buddha-Bar VXI.
Fusion Electronic Music
MJoobi's music blends electronic and world music, creating a unique fusion of sound that draws on traditional Persian music, techno, and ambient music. His music reflects his passion for cultural exchange, transcending boundaries and taking the listener on a musical journey. MJoobi's fusion style is innovative and has received widespread acclaim from fans and critics, showcasing his talent and versatility as a music producer and performer.
Lighthouse Records
As an ambitious artist, HEEN searched for a record label that aligned with his style and vision. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic when many systems were disrupted, he turned to one of his mentors, MJoobi, a renowned record producer who has worked with successful bands like Sogand and Rebeat. Together, they launched their own record label, Lighthouse Records, to showcase their music in an official and professional manner and to support other like-minded artists without limitations or excuses. The goal of Lighthouse is to create a platform that fosters artistic expression and creativity.
Since 2016, MJoobi has been working as a film and theater music and sound designer, collaborating with acclaimed directors such as Kiomars Moradi, Ramin Akbari, and Mahan Khomamipour. In this role, MJoobi has been producing original music and designing soundscapes that complement the narrative and visuals of films. MJoobi also works with theater productions, working closely with directors and actors to create immersive soundscapes and original music to enhance the audience's experience.
Roozbeh Nematollahi
In 2016, MJoobi collaborated with Roozbeh Nematollahi, producing four songs, including the fusion-style track "Sogand," which combined elements of poetry and spirituality. The successful collaboration led to a joint performance in Tehran's Milad Tower, showcasing MJoobi's talent as a producer and performer.
MJoobi is a content creator for the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement in Iran, producing compelling music and visual media to support the cause. He collaborates with activists, artists, and social media influencers to raise awareness and promote the movement. Working with artists such as Kamyar and an anonymous group, he creates various contents including songs. Along with his successful music career, MJoobi is actively contributing to the cause and supporting the movement through his creative talents.
Kamyar
In 2020, MJoobi started collaborating with Kamyar on new music projects, but they decided not to release their work due to their commitment to supporting the "Women, Life, Freedom" movement in Iran. Instead, they decided to use their music and content creation to advocate for the movement and raise awareness. Together, they continue to produce and create music while also supporting important social causes.
Sig;Null Academy
MJoobi co-owns and instructs at Sig:Null Academy, where he offers courses on music production and sound engineering. He develops personalized curriculums to suit each student's learning style and goals. The academy provides a platform for aspiring musicians and sound engineers to gain valuable knowledge and skills to advance their careers in the music industry.
